The Sea to Sky Tour begins by crossing the famous Lions Gate Bridge which will take you onto the Sea to Sky Highway and where we will make our first stop at the emblematic site of Britannia Beach. After a tour in a modern cable car, the Sea to Sky Gondola offers a privileged view over the fjord and the coastal mountains where we will admire the majestic Chief- the largest granite monolith in America. Back in town, our Spanish-speaking guides will stop in Squamish and Horseshoe Bay, a picturesque town that is home to one of the busiest ferry terminals in the province.
Britannia Beach is home to a museum that was once one of the largest copper mining sites in the British Empire. In this museum you can travel through the underground tunnel in a train car just as the miners did in the early 1900’s.
The Sea to Sky Gondola will take you 885 meters into the sky and to the top of the mountain where you will cross The Pilot suspension bridge and walk a scenic trail.
This town of around 1,000 permanent residents is known for its coastal life, delicious seafood restaurants and recreational activities. Also known as the point of a entry and departure for the ferries to the surrounding islands.
